The Kurdistan Democratic Party announced, today, Tuesday, that the Sadrist movement’s delegation confirmed the majority government with the participation of the winning blocs, while noting that the position of the President of the Republic had not been discussed with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan so far.
A member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mahmoud Muhammad, said in a press conference held today and attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party met with the delegation of the Sadrist movement, which is currently visiting Erbil to discuss a number of political files and formation of the government," noting that "the Sadrist movement's view of the next government is for it to be a national majority government in which the winning parties participate, with a strong opposition as well.
