The head of the Al-Fatih Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, confirmed on Wednesday, that the meeting with the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada Al-Sadr at his home in Al-Hanana, was positive and responsible.
"The meeting was positive and responsible, based on the strong state's interest and success in the next stage," said Al-Amiri in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He added, "The guarantees of success in building the state discussion will be completed, and in the coming days we will return to Najaf again,"
Earlier, Sayyed Al-Sadr, held a meeting today with the delegation of the coordination framework headed by al-Amiri, at his home in the Al-Hanana district, Najaf.
After the meeting, Al-Sadr confirmed the formation of a national majority government.
"A national majority government, neither of the east nor of the west." he included in a tweet posted on his official Twitter account.
