One of the biggest counterfeiters arrested in Basra

Security media cell announced Sunday the arrest of one of the biggest document counterfeiters in Basra province.

"After obtaining judicial approvals, the National Security Service detachments in Basra province were able to set up a tight ambush that resulted in the arrest of one of the biggest counterfeiters of documents, and 350 seals of state institutions and names of figures with administrative positions were seized, as well as dozens of forged documents including arrest warrants, real estate bonds, birth certificates, death certificates, official documents, marriage contracts, instruments of funds were seized in his house," the cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"He has been referred to the competent legal authorities to take the necessary action against him," the cell said.
