The European Union announces the resumption of nuclear negotiations next Monday 

The European Union, announced on Thursday, negotiators resume on Iran's nuclear talks in Vienna, on Monday, according to Agence France - Presse. 

"It is important to accelerate the pace of the main outstanding issues by working closely with the United States," European Union Coordinator Enrique Mora said in a tweet. 

"Welcome to the eighth round of talks, which will resume on December 27," Mora added. 

The resumption of the Vienna talks aims to return the United States, which is indirectly involved in the agreement, as Tehran refuses to hold a direct dialogue with Washington. 

After several days of "serious and intense" discussions, according to Tehran, delegates left last week with some progress on the technical level.
