Airlines evacuates 417 stranded people at the Belarusian border

    The Ministry of Transport announced that Iraqi  airlines have evacuated 417 Iraqis stranded at the Belarusian border.  

    A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Iraqi Airways evacuated about (417) Iraqi citizens stranded on the Belarusian-Polish border through its eighth exceptional humanitarian flight that was carried out today from Minsk Airport to the airports of Erbil and Baghdad". 

     

    The statement added that "the number of those who have been successfully transferred through these flights has risen to (3139) Iraqis.
