The World Health Organization confirmed, today, Tuesday, that comprehensive travel ban decisions will not stop the spread of “Omicron” globally and will cast a shadow over the lives of citizens.
The organization said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the comprehensive travel ban decisions will not stop the spread of Omicron globally and will cast a shadow over the lives of citizens."
Noted that "more than 56 countries are currently implementing travel restrictions in an attempt to delay the arrival of the Omicron mutant."
And the American Johns Hopkins University reported that the total number of coronavirus infections in the world has risen to more than 262 million, and the total deaths have reached more than 5.2 million.
