A security operation launched in the Makhoul Mountains

Salah al-Din Operations Command launched a large-scale search Tuesday to eliminate ISIS terrorist remnants in the Makhoul mountain ranges.

"A force from the Salah al-Din Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization, Brigade 51, Field Engineering of the 31st Brigade, , the Artillery Weapon of the Popular Mobilization and the Army Air Support, carried out a large-scale search operation in the Makhoul mountain ranges to hunt down ISIS terrorist remnants," said a statement from the Popular Mobilization Authority, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"The security operation includes searching and clearing the areas of the Makhoul Mountains and The Jayiza al-Jayadiya between the village of Salman and the Al-Meshak road from remnants of ISIS," the statement said.
