On Sunday night, the suspension of flights for travelers between the two countries will also take effect, after the Moroccan authorities decided on Thursday to delay it for two days to facilitate the return of stranded travelers between France and Morocco.

Yesterday, Friday, the Moroccan authorities also announced a ban on entry to their soil for those coming or transiting through a group of countries in the southern African region, in anticipation of the transmission of the new mutated infection of the Corona virus, which was called “Omicron” and was monitored for the first time in the Republic of South Africa.

The number of people infected with the Corona virus since its appearance in Morocco has reached about 950,000, of whom 14,773 have died, according to the latest official toll.
