New joint security operation to secure Hamrin Basin, SMC reports

The Security Media Cell announced today, Tuesday, launching a joint operation to secure the Hamrin Basin in Diyala province.
 
SMC  said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The security services, under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, continue their proactive operations, and after completing the first phase of the security operation in Diyala province  , the second phase of this operation was launched today morning , in which units of The Army, Police and The Popular Mobilization Forces participate, With air support from the Army, the Air Force, and the International Coalition’s Aviation.”
 
SMC also added, "The Joint Operations Command has set specific goals for this operation within the sector of responsibility in Diyala province to enhance security and stability, combat crime and terrorism and enforce law."
