German Chancellor , Angela Merkel, launched on Saturday, warning of a severe pandemic Corona, as pointed out that Germany ahead very difficult weeks.

"Very difficult weeks await us," Merkel said, in a video clip of her, published today, Saturday, adding that "a year ago the country was in a similarly dangerous situation, but vaccines are now available.".

"We just have to get it, quickly," Merkel said. "Please: join in and try to convince your relatives and friends too.".

The chancellor stated, "Every person infected with corona should receive the best possible treatment, but there must also be a place and staff in hospitals for everyone who needs treatment.".

Merkel also continued, "But this is no longer possible in the areas most affected by Corona now. Units are full and patients must be transferred to other places. Surgery appointments are cancelled. Doctors and nurses who are still suffering from last winter's pandemic are about to reach their limits.".

In light of this, Merkel called for joint measures to be taken, before the meeting of the federal government and the states scheduled for next Thursday, explaining that the agreement of the two parties on common rules has always helped in facing the crisis, and she referred to the so-called hospital occupancy index, which shows the proportions of Corona patients in Hospitals, and demanded that a unified upper limit be quickly set between the federal government and the states for this indicator, which, if exceeded, will be tightened to combat the pandemic.
