Mikati calls Al-Kadhimi to check on him

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati made a phone call to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to check on him.

 A statement by the Lebanese Prime Minister, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "Prime Minister Najib Mikati made a phone call today to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-kadhimi."

 The statement added, "Mikati was assured of Al-Kadhimi safety after surviving the assassination attempt he was exposed to," noting that he "expressed his hope for brotherly Iraq for continued security and stability."
