    The cabinet spokesman Hassan Nadhim, announces on Thursday, the most important decisions of the meeting of the of the Council of Ministers in today's session.

    Nadhim said in a press conference that followed the cabinet session and was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the government received praise for the integrity of the elections and international recognition of it," noting that "the observations of some parties on the electoral process are legitimate and there is a law regulating objections."

    He added, "The Iraqis are moving through the electoral process to a new stage in the country's democratic path," noting that "the Prime Minister confirmed that there is no loser in the elections.".

    Regarding the decisions of today’s session, Nadhim explained that “the Council of Ministers decided to support the treatment of the two files of desertification and salinity of the Euphrates River in the south, and also decided to allocate funds to treat the salinity of the Euphrates River and turn it into fresh water,” explaining that “the Council of Ministers also decided to rehabilitate a vital road in Wasit Governorate, and to approve the The Emaar Dhi Qar Fund granted operating advances to contract holders, in addition to issuing a decision to spend 3 billion dinars to support Al-Zawraa and Al-Mina clubs.

    He added, "The Council decided to establish industrial cities on several lands," noting that "the Prime Minister directed the development of shops and streets and the speedy completion of service projects in Baghdad."

    He pointed out that "there is a project to complete the green belt and combat desertification in the southern regions."
