Muqtada al-Sadr, called for not interfering with the work of the High Elections Commission or pressure on it.
Al-Sadr said in a tweet to him, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "what distinguishes these elections is that they took place under UN, international and Arab supervision, and elections have been approved by them.
He added: "Therefore, there should be no interference with the decisions of the Commission or increasing pressure on it, neither from the inside nor from some regional and international countries. The elections are an internal issue, and let it be clear to everyone, that we carefully follow all illegal internal and external interference that Infringement Iraq's reputation and independence.
