President Joe Biden said Tuesday, that the United States is considering a press investigation into tax avoidance schemes called the Pandora papers.
The International Federation of Journalists had earlier accused 35 current and former politicians for involvement in tax avoidance in the United States, as well as 400 officials from nearly 100 countries.
The new investigation, dubbed the Pandora papers, revealed the existence of several credit funds in the United States that were used as "secret tax avoidance", and in particular revealed billions of dollars in assets in South Dakota alone.
The Pandora papers was revealed by the International Federation of Investigative Journalists and contains reports from 600 journalists from 117 countries and 11.9 million leaked files.
