Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday, recording an earthquake in Nineveh province, while noting that the magnitude of the quake is 4 degrees.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "An earthquake was recorded this morning, northeast of Rabiaa in Nineveh, with magnitude of 4 on the Richter scale.”
"The tremor was felt by the citizens of the region," the ministry said, calling on citizens to "take care and stay away from rumors and false news and abide by seismic commandments issued by the General Authority for Air News and Seismic Monitoring."
On the other part, the Ministry of Transport announced t on Tuesday, recording five earthquakes in Sulaimaniyah province, where they were felt by citizens.
