Major General Al-Khafaji added, "The intelligence agency was able to access important information about that addition, which was delivered through the Joint Operations Command to the Iraqi Air Force, where the Iraqi Air Force this morning directed a series of air strikes that resulted in the killing of more than 7 terrorists." .

He pointed out that "the tactical force affiliated with the Ministry of Interior was also able, after going to the area and inspecting it, to kill one of the terrorists who tried to escape while he was wounded."

He stressed, "This great work carried out by the security forces falls within a series of proactive and qualitative operations carried out by the security forces, led by the Intelligence and Investigations Agency of the Ministry of Interior."
