Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein met today, Thursday, with his Jordanian counterparts, Ayman Safadi, and Egyptian Sameh Shoukry, within the tripartite coordination mechanism between Iraq, Jordan and Egypt.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Hussein met his Jordanian and Egyptian counterparts within the tripartite coordination mechanism between Iraq, Jordan and Egypt.".
He pointed out that "the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, held in New York."
