BOC continues curfew to support population census efforts

The Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) announced on Wednesday that it will maintain the citywide curfew to bolster the population census currently in progress.

In a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the BOC confirmed that security units from the Ministries of Defense and Interior, under direct supervision from field commanders, are actively implementing the curfew plan to aid the ongoing census in Baghdad.

The BOC also highlighted its commitment to ensuring smooth operations for authorized personnel carrying official permits from the Higher Security Committee and the Media and Communications Commission.”
