The Jordanian Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Al-Kasabi, who is currently visiting Iraq, revealed on Wednesday, the value of the projects that were referred to Jordanian companies by Baghdad Municipality.
The Mayor of Baghdad met today with a Jordanian delegation headed by Al-Kasabi to discuss the projects file in the secretariat and the possibility of Jordanian companies participating in their implementation.
"The Mayor of Baghdad informed us of the transfer two projects to two Jordanian companies from major investment companies, with a value of more than 40 million dollars," said Al-Kasabi in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He stressed his ongoing meetings with officials in the Iraqi government to discuss the investment file that was raised in previous visits and during Iraq-Jordan-Egypt Summit.
"Tomorrow, there will be a meeting with the Minister of Construction and Housing to discuss the housing investment file as Jordan hopes to raise the level of trade exchange with Iraq to achieve benefit for both parties,” he noted.
