The Ministry of Health and Environment announced that there is 3 conditions of vaccination must be provided by a third dose of vaccine virus Corona.
The Director General of the Public Health Department at the Ministry of Health, Riyad Abdel Amir, explained in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the issue of the third dose of the Corona vaccine has not yet been determined, and that 3 important things must be achieved before giving the third dose, the first of which is to follow the opinion of the World Health Organization in this regard.
Abdul-Amir added, "The second issue is related to achieving a high percentage of vaccinated people among the community, because it is unreasonable to give a third dose, while many citizens did not take the first dose."
In addition to that , He pointed out that "the third thing is to achieve a vaccination rate of 80% of the community," noting that "the Ministry of Health has so far achieved only a vaccination rate ranging from 10 to 15 percent."
Furthermore, he Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, called for postponing the doses of revitalizing Covid-19 vaccines, noting that the priority should be to increase vaccination rates in countries where only one or two percent of the population has been vaccinated.
