Iraqi ambassador to Russia, Abdul Rahman Hamid Al-Husseini, announced on Monday, the resumption of Iraqi Airways flights to Moscow.
"We welcome the decision of the Russian authorities to resume Iraqi Airways flights to Moscow, as of September 21 this year. Welcome to our student as they return to their classrooms in Russia,” said Al-Husseini in a tweet on his official Twitter platform, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Earlier, Russian government said that, "Russia will resume flights with Iraq, Spain, Kenya and Slovakia as of September 21,”
