The head of the National Security Service, Abdul Ghani Al-Asadi, arrived, today Sunday, in Kirkuk province, to discuss the repercussions of the security breaches and the plans to secure the polling centers.
"The head of the National Security Service, Abdul Ghani al-Asadi, arrived in Kirkuk province to find out the latest security developments, and discuss the repercussions of the recent violations in the province," said the media office of NSS in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, "The visit also aims to review the plan to secure the electoral centers in coordination and cooperation with the security services and the local government in the province."
