the statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated "We received with more sorrow and regret the news of the death of His Eminence, the scholar Hojjat al-Islam and the Muslims, Sheikh Abd al-Amir Qabalan (head of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council in Lebanon), whose pure soul overflowed to its creator after a lifetime full of giving in the path of religion and his homeland, striving to serve the people, fulfill their needs, and
