Our Football national team leaves Seoul for Qatar in preparation for its match with Iran

The delegation of the Iraqi national team left today, Thursday, the Korean capital, Seoul, heading to Qatar, in preparation for its match with Iran.

A reporter for the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said, "The delegation of our national team left the Korean capital, Seoul, and headed to Qatar, in preparation for facing Iran in the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.".

The national team will face its Iranian counterpart on the seventh of the current month of September in the second round of the qualifiers.

A negative tie was held over the match between Iraq and South Korea, which was held today, Thursday, in the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The two teams met at the World Cup stadium in the capital, Seoul, in the first round of the qualifiers.
The two teams were unable to reach the net in the two halves of the match, as caution dominated the performance of the two teams, and the match ended as it started without goals.
