The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, called today, Thursday, for the media to educate citizens about the wide turnout in the elections.
The Media Office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kadhimi met with a number of news managers in Iraqi news channels, and during the meeting, he urged the media in Iraq, in addition to social activities, to actively participate in the field of awareness and education, towards a large turnout in the upcoming elections.
Al-Kadhimi stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of satellite channels dedicating more space to this aspect, because of its significant impact on the future of the country.".
The statement added, "During the meeting, many files were discussed, the most important of which was the success achieved in the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, and its investment in strengthening Iraq's position and serving the people."
