Cabinet spokesman: Iraq succeeded to regain the regional role

    Cabinet spokesman Hassan Nadhim confirmed on Tuesday, that Iraq succeeded in its diplomatic efforts to restore its regional role.

    "International institutions noted the seriousness of the white sheet, which is a reform project for the economy,” said Nadhim, in a press conference attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

    He pointed out, "We found projects that have been delayed for decades, and the government has taken bold steps regarding it and towards combating corruption, as its achievements are known to all,”

    "The government has facilitated the Electoral Commission to be ready to complete the voting process on schedule," pointing out that "urging citizens to participate broadly in the elections will resolve political reform,” stressed Nadhim.

    Nadhim pointed out that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi encouraged easing bureaucratic procedures that delay the completion of government work,”

    He explained that the Cabinet adopted the Generations Fund project, which is “an economic guarantee for future generations,”

    Regarding Corona pandemic, spokesman Nadhim indicated that “the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Hani Al-Eqabi, confirmed to the Cabinet that Iraq has reached the end of the third wave of Corona,” noting that “vaccination operations are in a significant escalation and small outlets have opened in government institutions to vaccinate employees,” 
    “The Deputy Minister of Health called on government institutions to submit a request to open vaccination outlets to vaccinate their employees, and the Ministry of Health has a plan for managing the Arbaeen visit to avoid the spread of the epidemic,”

    He pointed out that "the Cabinet approves the recommendation of the Ministerial Energy Council to implement the solar energy production project,”

    Spokesman Nadhim indicated that "the Cabinet approved, in principle, the draft science service law and referred it to Parliament,”
