Macron visits Al-Nuri Mosque in Mosul

    French President Emmanuel Macron visited Al-Nuri Mosque in the city of Mosul, accompanied by Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and Nineveh Governor Najm Al-Jubouri.
     
    A reporter for the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "Macron visited the Al-Nuri Mosque after completing a visit to the Church of Our Lady of the Hour and meeting with the fathers and priests there."
     
    He added, "Macron visited the mosque and saw the effects of the destruction left by ISIS terrorist gangs during their control of the province."
