The head of Nineveh Orthodox Churches to Macron: We thank France for its contribution to reconstruct Mosul

The head of Nineveh Orthodox Churches, Raed Adel, thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for France's contribution to reconstruct Mosul.

"We thank France for its contribution to the reconstruction of the city of Mosul, including the airport, Adel said during Macron's visit to the Church of the Hour in the presence of a reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

Adel expressed his hope that the work at the airport will be completed as soon as possible, and the French consulate in Nineveh will be opened.

Adel also called on the French president for the wider participation of French companies in Nineveh province.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron visited the Church of Our Lady of the Hour in the city of Mosul, accompanied by Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, to see its reality and what ISIS terrorist gangs did to the church buildings.
