The news is accelerating about the expected destination of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, amid identical reports that he will return to Manchester United.
All the news during the past 48 hours indicated that Cristiano would join Manchester City, but the pace of events turned upside down, after City withdrew from the deal, and United intervened forcefully to settle the deal.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri had confirmed in previous statements today that Cristiano had told him that he did not want to stay in the old lady, which precipitated the departure of the Don.
The British newspaper "The Sun" revealed that United have prepared an offer worth 21.4 million pounds, in exchange for Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford again.
The Sun also indicated the administration's intention to grant the 36-year-old a two-year contract, making him the highest paid player in the English Premier League, estimated at about 510,000 pounds per week.
