The Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, confirmed today, Friday, that Iraq expresses its regret for the severing of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Algeria.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs regrets the severance of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria," the ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The ministry called on the two sides to rely on everything that would achieve stable relations, far from escalation to the detriment of the interests of the two countries, and to adopt diplomatic means as a way to resolve and sit at the dialogue table to resolve differences.
