The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, confirmed today, Friday, that he will run in the upcoming elections with determination, calling for the participation of millions in the elections.
Al-Sadr said in a speech, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that he "received a reform paper from the political forces," noting that "the paper came in accordance with our aspirations."
Al-Sadr added: “The interest required that we run in the elections,” calling for a pause under the dome of Parliament to implement the terms of the reform paper.
He pointed out that: “I find myself in need of you, and thanks to the brother, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.”
