INA - Baghdad Three parties that have joind al-Mehwer al-Watani Alliance nominated Mohammad Tamim for the presidency of the House of Representatives in the new session. The following parties (Civil Society for Reform, Salim al-Jubouri, al-Massar al-Madani, Muthana al-Samarrai and Civil Progress Party, Falah Hassan Zaidan) have stated that it opens serious dialogue with all political parties about its candidate Tamim. The statement included that the acceptance was confirmed at a national level by the majority of the winning blocs in parliament. These parties insisted to leave quotas and end the monopoly of positions. Noting that, nominating Mohamed Tamim to the presidency of the parliament in its current session was due to his qualifications and long experience in political work.
