PM: Daesh savage massacre in Sinjar revealed terrorism true face

    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi said on Monday, that the heinous massacres committed by Daesh terrorist gangs here in the name of religion, revealed the brutal face of terrorism and its hostile rhetoric.
     
    This came during his meeting with the gathering of clans and dignitaries of Sinjar in Nineveh Governorate, according to a statement by the Prime Minister Media Office, received by Iraqi News Agency – INA.
     
    “This place has become sacred because pure blood was shed here, the blood of our honorable Yazidi people, and the blood of young people from all parts of Iraq who liberated it. It is their honor and their land,” expressed Al-Kadhimi.
     
    He went on saying, “The land of Sinjar will remain an immortal shrine in the conscience of the Iraqis, a luminous sign in the record of their patriotism, and sightseeing to the steadfastness of our Yazidi people and their adherence to their land,”
     
    PM Al-Kadhimi pointed out that “the heinous massacres committed by Daesh terrorist gangs here in the name of religion, revealed the brutal face of terrorism and its hostile rhetoric and revealed that extremism, criminality and discrimination all failed to break the Yazidis’ patience, resistance and steadfastness, but rather increased their attachment to their historical land, because they are Iraqis since the dawn of history,”
     
    “We will work to build a museum to commemorate the martyrs of this place, including children, women and valiant fighters, who defeated terrorism on behalf of the will of good in the whole world,” noted Al-Kadhimi.
     
    He explained that the government is working on addressing the file of the IDPs and missing people of our Yazidis, and “to provide all help, love and responsibility to the Yazidi survivors of the evil grip of Daesh, as well as following up on the fate of those kidnapped from them,”
     
    “We are proceeding with the implementation of the Sinjar Agreement, which will pave the way for the launch of reconstruction and construction projects in the region, and will restore love and coexistence as it was throughout the ages,”
