Minister of Finance Ali Allawi handed over the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,today, Sunday, the invitation of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to participate in the summit of neighboring countries to be held in Baghdad.
The Emirates News Agency stated that "the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received today the Minister of Finance, Ali Abdul Amir Allawi," noting that "Allawi handed Al-Nahyan the invitation of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to participate in the summit of the Iraqi neighboring countries to be held at the end of August."
Allawi conveyed to Al-Nahyan Al-Kadhmi's greetings, while the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed his hope that "the Iraqi people will achieve their aspirations for stability, safety and prosperity."
The agency also added, "The two sides discussed during the meeting fraternal relations and ways to enhance them to achieve the common interests of the two countries, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest."
