Iraqi national football team training began in Marbella, Spain on Monday, in preparation for the Asian qualifiers for Qatar 2022 World Cup.
"The players of the Iraqi national team completed the morning training unit, led by the Dutch coach (Dick Advocaat) and his assistant training staff, which included recovery exercises, after the team's long travel trip on Sunday, which arrived in Malacca late at night,” included a statement by the Media Office of the Football Association, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The national team will participate in its evening training unit, to level up the players' readiness before entering the decisive qualifiers that will start early next month, according to the statement.
