Spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, confirmed on Wednesday, that Iraq does not need any foreign combat troops, while referring to the need to exchange experiences with the international coalition.
"We do not need any foreign combat forces in Iraq,” Major General Rasool told Al-Iraqiya News, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He added, "Iraq needs to exchange experiences from the international coalition. The battle with the remaining Daesh terrorist gangs is intelligence, and we are working to complete the capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces,"
