The Security Media Cell announced on Monday, the arrest of 6 suspects wanted in terrorist cases, including a suicide bomber in Kirkuk province.
SMC cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the detachments of the Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation (AIFI) were able to arrest 6 persons wanted in accordance with Article 4of anti- terrorism law, including 4 wanted by the Kirkuk Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Service.
The statement added, Through the confessions of the accused, it was found that they fought within ISIS terrorist gangs and were providing logistical support in terms of foodstuffs and others.
After thorough investigation, it was found that among the accused there are two wanted persons Kirkuk AIFI and CTS in Nineveh and Salah al-Din, one of whom was working among the suicide terrorists.
The statement added that all the legal measures were taken against them in accordance with the law.
