PMF find Military equipment in Anbar

The Anbar Operations Command for the Popular Mobilization Forces announced today, Friday, the control of an ISIS booby-trapped vehicle and the seizure of a number of medium and light weapons in a preemptive operation in the Qaim district, west of Anbar.

Anbar Operations Commander Qassem Mosleh said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “This operation came after the intersection of intelligence information with the relevant authorities, through which we were able to find an ISIS guesthouse containing an abandoned car bomb, a type of pickup, and documents were seized An ISIS organization concerned with money circulation, the Education Bureau, marriage contracts, and a database of members of the security services and wanted persons in the Qaim district, west of Anbar.

Musleh added that: “A large number of various types of ordnance were seized, as well as the BKS weapon, RBG7 shells with ammunition, Steyr sniper, Kalashnikov type weapons with their ammunition and medium weapons of various types.”
