The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced today, Sunday, the return of 296 displaced people to their areas of origin in Nineveh.
The Director General of the Branch Affairs Department, Ali Abbas Jahakir, said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Under the guidance of the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, a new batch of displaced people was returned with about 296 displaced people from the Khazer axis camps east of Mosul to their areas in (Al-Mithaq Neighborhood, Al-Quds Neighborhood, Badush, Nahrawan, Zummar, Hatra, Al-Zahra Neighborhood, Al-Ansar, Wadi Hajar, Al-Sharqat, Al-Obour, Al-Harmatz, Tel Afar, Al-Arbajeeh, Bab Laksh, Tel Al-Rumman, Al-Mamoun, Agrarian Reform, Al-Bawer Village, Umm Village Hajra, Al-Quds and Al-Humaydat) of Nineveh Governorate.
Jahakir added, "The return of the displaced families came after completing the security check for them in coordination with the security forces and local governments, and they were delivered to their original areas of residence with all their belongings."
