Iraq is selected to chair the Social Forum of the Human Rights Council

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday that Iraq will chair the Social Forum of the Human Rights Council for the year 2021.
     
    Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Ambassador Abdul Karim Hashim Mustafa, will occupy the position of Chairman of the Forum, which will be held for the period from 4-5 October 2021.
