The Security Media Cell announced today, Sunday, that the Baghdad Operations Command has opened an investigation to find out the circumstances of the explosion of a roadside bomb that led to the death of two citizens south of the capital.
A statement issued by the cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Baghdad Operations Command opened an investigation to find out the circumstances of the explosion of a homemade explosive device that was placed near the house of a citizen who works as a farmer in the Koresh area in the village of Al-Mosafer, south of the capital."
He added, "The explosion led to the martyrdom of the citizen and his son, and material damage."
