Crude oil prices are down nearly 2% today, as the US dollar gaining on the prospect of a US Federal Reserve interest rate hike in 2023.
Brent crude futures fell $1.31, or 1.8 percent, to $73.08 a barrel upon settlement.
US West Texas Intermediate crude fell $1.11, or 1.5 percent, to a settlement price of $71.04.
