The spokesman for the Commander in Chief, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced on Tuesday, that there are and diplomatic moves by Ministry of Foreign Affairs over the repeated Turkish incursions on Iraqi lands.
Rasoul added that the Iraqi constitution stipulates respect for the sovereignty of all countries, therefore all countries must respect the sovereignty of Iraq in return, stressing that Iraqi governments rejected make the its lands as a starting point for carrying out any terrorist act against any neighboring country.
Turkey should put Iraq sovereignty before its eyes, and if it has information about any party, it should be given to the Iraqi side to deals with, Rasoul confirmed.
On the other hand, Rasoul affirmed that an important effort was made by the Baghdad Governorate and Ministry of Interior, to secure Baghdad with surveillance cameras, which helped to thwart many attacks.
