Al-Wonan stresses the need for effective communication between security and the media

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, Jaafar Al-Wanan, stressed today, Monday, the need to achieve effective communication and communication between security and the media.

A statement by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "Al-Wonan received the Baghdad Police Commander, Major General Majid Al-Moussawi, to discuss the security situation in Baghdad."

During the meeting, Al-Wanan stressed the need to achieve effective communication and communication between security and the media, noting that "the role of the media lies in spreading societal peace to contribute to stabilizing the security situation."

In turn, Al-Moussawi stressed "the importance of spreading the concept of integrity and sincerity, stressing that the door of the Ministry of Interior is open to all media professionals, journalists and mass media to obtain correct and complete information to prevent the spread of any rumours."
