The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigations announced, today, Monday, the arrest of the criminals who bombed the car in al-Tamim neighborhood in Nineveh province.
A statement by AIFI, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "on 5/23/2021, a car bomb exploded in al-Tamim neighborhood in Nineveh province, killing a number of citizens, for that a specialized work team was immediately formed under the direct supervision and field follow-up from The Undersecretary of AIFI at the Ministry of Interior.
The statement stated, “After intensifying the intelligence effort and collecting all the information, we captured a group of three terrorists who commit the criminal operation, adding that all of them are pro-ISIS and wanted according to the provisions of the article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.
The statement also referred that the terrorists did not use the traditional method by using explosive materials (such as TNT, C4, or military remnants), but used cooling oxygen , kerosene and gasoline bottles.
