The Parliamentary Crisis Cell revealed new recommendations submitted to the Ministry of Health regarding education, travel and the curfew in the country.
A member of the Health and Environment Committee and the reporter of the Parliamentary Crisis Cell, Jawad Al-Mousawi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The committee has submitted recommendations to the Ministry of Health and the National Health and Safety Committee to prevent travel with every country that records confirmed infections with the new Indian strain."
He added, "Among the recommendations are ending public education in schools and universities and that it be electronic, as well as a recommendation to implement a comprehensive ban in the blessed week of Eid Al-Fitr."
He also pointed out that "the Crisis Cell is awaiting administrative and ministerial orders from the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety during the next 24 or 48 hours to announce its decisions."
Al-Dulaimi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "it is difficult to make a decision to end the current school year, just like last year." .
In addition to that the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announced the evacuation of the first flight of Iraqis stranded in India on Monday.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi directed the evacuation of Iraqis stranded in India.
