Sheikh of Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb, today, Sunday, sent a message of condolence to the Iraqi people, expressing the support of Al-Azhar and their sympathy for the Iraqis, following the fire that broke out in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital.
Al-Tayyib wrote in a tweet on his Twitter account followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "My sincere condolences to the brotherly Iraqi people for the victims of the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital fire," stressing the solidarity of Al-Azhar with our Iraqi brothers in their great loss.
Al-Tayyib added, "Al-Azhar, with all its medical sectors, is ready to contribute to alleviating the suffering of our brothers who are injured in this painful incident."
