Iran sends condolences, today, Sunday, over the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital accident in Baghdad.
"We extend our condolences to the government and people of Iraq, especially the families of the victims of the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital accident in Baghdad, which led to the death and injury of dozens of Iraqi citizens, including many patients," Foreign Minister Muhammad Jawad Zarif said on his Twitter account.
The Iranian Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Saeed Namaki, wrote a letter to the Iraqi Minister of Health Hassan Al-Tamimi, "It is with great sorrow that we received the news of the death and injury of a number of Iraqi citizens and a group of health staff in an explosion that occurred in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad."
