Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed that the Iraqi air force will remain the faithful guardian of Mesopotamia and its skies.
His media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): Today we are going through the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi air force, the shield of Iraq and the wall of its invincible sky.
He pointed out that "on this occasion, it gives me pleasure to write expressions of confidence, pride and pride in the fighters and members of this basic class in our heroic Iraqi army, and in their name to our honorable Iraqi people, that our air force remains the faithful guardian of Mesopotamia and its skies."
He added: Our heroes in the Air Force have recorded their sacrifices and heroism, while they are fighting terrorism, and by that they have sent an eloquent message to anyone who himself tries to harm the unity of the land and people of Iraq.
He continued: We congratulate you on the anniversary of your founding and longevity for Iraq and its people, and the mercy and honor for the martyrs of the Iraqi air force, and all the martyrs of our dear homeland.
