National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji and his Iranian counterpart, Ali Shamkhani discussed security situations.
"Al-Araji met in Tehran on Monday, the Iranian National Security Adviser Shamkhani and discussed strengthening joint relations between Baghdad and Tehran, as well as the related security issues, common interests and borders, in addition to strengthening security and intelligence cooperation between the two countries,” included a statement by Al-Araji media office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Earlier, Al-Araji arrived on Monday morning in the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to an official invitation from the Iranian side.
